The nolstalgic feeling

I constantly feel nolstalgia over simple things. It doesn't have to be from years and years ago, I feel nolstalgic over different months, shows, and family members. Not them particularly but the times and memories I've had with them. It is such an interesting thing too!  This will be a short post since the topic is more supposed to jog your memory and get you thinking about your past/childhood! <3

YOLO!!!

Y.O.L.O is an abreviation for "You only live once." It is widely known and used from youth to adults, mainly to express wanting to have fun or try new experiences as we grow and life seems to go on and on. You might ask "How can I follow 'YOLO'?" I would tell you to listen to these 3 tips:

1. Stop caring about if you're being cringe!!- It's a part of life and happiness

2. Make a Bucket-List!!!- A list of hopes and goals that you can try to fill out

3. BE HAPPY!- I know its not as easy as just saying it but as soon as you start to fix your thought pattern the more it will begin to change!

Writers note: Though I promised myself to begin to write more of my personal life experiences and cover the topics within them, I will still post cutey posts like these!! <3

"Cringe" culture

I thought I should write this post before I continue to write any others, It will most-likely be a part of a series of posts dedicated to this topic. Cringe culture is not talked about enough. Why is basic human happiness corny? Why are people being afraid to post what makes them happy out of fear of being bullied by their peers? It's simple, people have become wayyyy to comfortable with sharing their negative opinions on someone else's work/happiness, and this has effected our artistic growth as well. Many are quick to judge abstract art and say its foolish but jump at the chance to hate on someone's first drawings. This is why many people aren't pursuing their talents and passions. (And yes that includes weird Tiktok dances or trends) Even shows for example, (I myself have caught myself doing this sadly ) but people judging others for watching something that makes them happy.  I think the whole thing is childish and the amount of grown adults standing idly by or even endorsing the hate is disgusting. #endcringeculture

The downfall of individuality?

I have seen many people online mention this, the "loss of individuality'. I honestly think that it isn't as simple as that. The reason people are starting to lose what makes them stick out is because of how deeprooted it is in youth to be all the same. I feel like people are losing the art of wearing what  makes them happy as oposed to what everyone else is wearing. Not saying that you cant like those things, maybe that is what makes you stick out; but seeing people supress and hate their previously loved hobbies because its "cringe" or "annoying", breaks my heart. BE YOU. Be entirely you until people know that its you for just you being you. This seems a little sappy but it's true.

Love yourself!

I have seen many people say this but not many listen and take it in. Loving yourself exceeds far from just accepting who you are/ your interests and hobbies. It's loving yourself when no one else does and finding comfort in being alone. I myself have struggled with truly being happy without being stimulated with conversation or activities with others. No, this does not mean that you cant be happy with others or hang out with other people to be a good person. It just means that being lonely doesnt have to be the end of the world if you can find comfort in yourself. Kind of a dark first real upload but one that speaks to me greatly.  I have always been a naturally independant person but I  have noticed that it can be much different to other people. I have met some people who were always hanging out with or talking to people because it made them happy and there is absolutely nothing wrong with that. When I had tried that aproach aswell it had made me miserable. I will always continue to learn more about myself as I continue to go through life and school. I think it's all about perspective and who you are! Be yourself, love yourself, and always try to learn more about yourself.
